Alana Johnson is an actor, comedian, producer, and educator.

She has appeared on CBS’s Blue Bloods, NBC’s Law & Order, and STARZ’s 50 Cent-produced Powerbook III: Raising Kanan. She co-created the BET Digital Series Two Grown and was one of nine nationwide finalists in the ABC Discovers Digital Talent Competition. Her work has taken her to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where she also performed on BBC Radio Scotland.

Alana has performed at the New York Comedy Festival, Knockouts Comedy Festival, Latinas Comedy Festival, and Don’t Tell Comedy, and has graced stages at top NYC venues including Broadway, Greenwich Village, Rodney’s, St. Marks, and West Side Comedy Clubs.

She has produced live shows and events across the greater New York City area championing both established and emerging talent.

Alana earned her MFA in Acting from LSU and now shares her expertise as an Adjunct Professor of Acting and Public Speaking, inspiring students to discover and harness their creative potential.
